An adventure worth writing about

Summer Ink Online Camp

WRITING IS FOR EVERYONE. At Summer Ink, we dive into new activities, ready to write! Sometimes the challenges are physical. Ever tried hacky-sacking or molding an alligator? Sometimes, we focus on mastering new skills. You never know! Your hidden talent could be playing a kazoo or creating a solar art masterpiece. Whatever the activity, the goal is the same: We improve our writing skills through the daily practice of responding to our activities in our online workbooks, with the guidance and encouragement of our dedicated counselors.

How it Works: Each one-week session runs Monday–Friday, two hours per day. Camp starts at either 8:30 a.m. EDT or 11 a.m. EDT, depending on a camper’s grade.

Summer Ink uses the proven WEX writing method, and our sessions are delivered by our experienced and engaging counselors via Zoom and Google Classroom. Prior to the start of camp, each camper will receive an Adventure Box. The Box includes a mix of tactile and active activities that can be done without adult help in any home, and each one poses a particular focus for the campers when they write in their journals. Throughout the week, campers work closely with their counselors to improve key writing skills through this engaging and unique format.

Who Should Register: Energetic and curious middle school students of all writing abilities entering grades 5 to 9 who are looking for an enriching summer activity.
